We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Lian Star Furniture. If something is wrong with your order, we will do our best to make it right. Please read this policy carefully before initiating a return.


1. Our Return Commitment

We accept returns for items that are faulty, damaged upon delivery, or do not match what was ordered. You have 7 days from the date of delivery to report an issue and initiate a return.

Returns are not accepted for change of mind, incorrect size chosen, or items that have been used and are in good condition.


2. Items We Cannot Accept Returns For

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are strictly non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Mattresses
  • Mattress toppers and protectors
  • Pillows and bolsters
  • Bedding accessories that have been opened or used

If any of these items arrive damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please refer to our Warranty Policy instead.


3. Conditions for a Valid Return

To be eligible for a return, all of the following must apply:

  • The item was received damaged, defective, or incorrect
  • You report it within 7 days of delivery
  • The item is in its original, unused condition
  • Original packaging is intact where applicable
  • You provide your order number and photographic evidence of the issue

4. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us at lianstar.sale@gmail.com with the subject: Return Request — [Your Order Number]
  2. Include the following:
    • Your full name and contact number
    • Your order number
    • Clear photos of the item and the issue (minimum 3 photos)
    • A description of the problem
  3. Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days
  4. If approved, we will arrange collection or advise on return logistics

5. Refunds & Replacements

  • Once a return is approved and the item is inspected, we will offer either a full refund or a replacement of the same item — your choice, subject to stock availability
  • Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7–14 business days of approval
  • Replacement items are subject to the same delivery lead times as new orders
  • We do not offer cash refunds for orders placed incorrectly by the customer

6. Return Logistics

  • For Sarikei and Sarawak orders, our team will arrange collection of the faulty item at no charge to you once the return is approved
  • For Peninsular Malaysia orders fulfilled by our suppliers, return arrangements will be coordinated between you, us, and the supplier — we will guide you through the process

7. Damaged Goods on Delivery

If your item arrives visibly damaged, do not sign off on the delivery without noting the damage. Take photos immediately and contact us within 24 hours. We will arrange inspection and resolution as a priority.
